I thought I would start with stuff that I did before the class began so I can see improvements.
These were done over the past month or so. I am a big fan of Stan Prokopenkos video's on figure drawing, and some of these drawings are copies of his, to help me understand his process.
These are a few 2 minute poses.

These ones are longer poses, around 15-20 minutes. I usually focus on line and gesture rather than tone, but its something that I plan on doing more of.
This last one is a few drawings from my first class at NSCAD. We focused on 3 minute gestures, using a "searching" line and trying to avoid drawing contour. I had a pretty hard time with the searching line, a lot of contour still found its way into the drawings, but it was a fun class and Im looking forward to next week.
